Shhhhhhhhh! ....nobody's suppose to know.

I just laugh when I hear people talk about inbreeding like it was some kind of disease. furious
Inbreeding is something that is done with most experience breeder. biggrin
It's done to create most of your show dogs to lock in a certain type and set it. Brother to sister breeding's are common in the show ring, but you'll rarely get anyone to admit to it. Although I myself don't breed that close. In the animal world nature makes it that way so only the strong survive.

Papers on dogs are falsified all the time to save face. Look what happen when somebody crossbred a dapple dachshund to create the Merle Chihuahua...mum was the word until the 2nd generation of little moondoggie were bred back to the Chihuahua and the pups started to looked like a Chihuahua again. Somebody had to falsified those AKC papers, and they did.

How about the person that took a mini Aussie and cross it with the Chihuahua, to introduce the Merle gene. For years the off spring of the Merle gene was kept hush hush. After some years passed, they didn't even try to hide it. There on her AKC pedigree has the secret ingredient in her name (LMAO)....It' Lotza Luv's Aussie Too.  http://www.kandeechihuahuas.com/pedigrees/merles/21.html

Out in plain sight, and they still didn't catch it....Dha! No one was any the wiser. After a time, just like magic, whoop there it is! Look at that,... a nutation gene. OMG!, We can make a fortune out of the breeding. They'll be worth 5,000 dollars each. Well ain't that some sh*t.
And all the world will come to marvel over the new little credence's. Well to bad when the word got out about the out crossings the AKC put up a fight and said no go to the little Merle wonders. So again a lot of falsification took place in the chihuahua breed. AKC knows it's a mess. Are we to believe that all the Merle chihuahuas were bred from one little chihuahua named Teto-Chico
TC316518 12-85 (Fawn.) here have a look, you won't see Merle anywhere in his pedigree.   http://tornadochis.com/tetochico.html

Now don't get me wrong on this matter.....I love the Merle chihuahuas and I myself have been working on developing my own lines of Merle's. It's just that because I'm not beholden to the AKC, there's no need for me to falsified anything about my breeding program. I tell like it is. As painful as it might be for some. All dogs had a breeder's hand in it's intelligent design. They just didn't pull them out of their assets weirdfacechuckle chuckle wink
If these walls could only talk blankstare LMAO idea

I say kennel club papers are good to wipe your assets with. But after 20 years of the Merle genes infiltration into the Chihuahua, they had to give in. In their hearts they knew that the Chihuahua was cross-bread with many different breeds to create most toys breeds as we know them today. Then their offspring was bred back to the Chihuahua. Why do you think the Chihuahua club of America lists any color as acceptable. With as many breeds that lay under cover in their fur, it's no wonder our little Chi-babies ain't born sky blue-pink. Matter of fact all the dog breeds were created from using two or more different type of breeds together, so get over it. The truth is something that needs to be reckoned with.

So no big deal, right? Same Sh*t different smell!
New and different dog breeds are being created in the world as we speak. Kennel clubs are making millions on the backs of the breeders. All that money for running a registry and they don't even get close to a load of crap.
But they sure know how to hand it out. Still in the end, they know better than to bite the hand that feeds them. I'm happy to see that the CKC and the FIC are biting into the pockets of the AKC these day. They had a monopoly on dog pedigree registrations for years. It's about time they move on.

I don't even register my puppies with any kennel club anymore. It's a wasted of money. My people would rather get a cabbage patch doll birth certificate with their little Chi puppy. All my sales go to pet people and their not looking at the show ring so they don't need papers on their little Chi's. But of course if at any time they would like to register the little lap napper,....I tell them to go CKC. It's cheaper and it's better than costly papers that just sit in your drawl. CKC gives you a nice laminated card with your pets picture on it for easy identification of your pet if needed. You must wait until your puppy is at least 6 months of age. You can download their registration application on the Internet.
